Oak Hill Academy Homecoming
Oak Hill Academy’s Homecoming is hosted annually by the Academy and current students. Homecoming is open to all OHA alumni and former students, and is held on campus in conjunction with a Gold Team basketball game in early November. Other activities associated with Homecoming include a Color Fun Run/Walk, a campus-wide parade, a tailgating meal, and basketball shooting and cheer contests. All current students, faculty and staff, alumni and former students are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the festivities.
Oak Hill Academy Alumni Weekend
Oak Hill Academy’s annual Alumni Weekend was held July 14-16, 2017. OHA alumni and former students from all over the U.S. return to “the hill” every year to reconnect, reminisce, and check out all the changes that have occurred on campus.
Some of the highlights of Alumni Weekend include: the “Welcome Home” Reception, combined class meetings with OHA president, Dr. Michael Groves, campus tours, lunch in the dining hall, the “in memoriam” tolling of the Academy bell, interaction with current students, an ice cream social, various activities at Noonkester Park, and dinner at the lakeside pavilion. The weekend concludes Sunday morning with a continental breakfast in the Dining Hall and worship service at Young’s Chapel.
We welcome all graduates, former students, and their families to attend this event each year free of charge. Please contact Tim Henry in the Alumni Office for more details. Make plans to attend next summer!
