Get ready for an unforgettable summer on The Hill at Oak Hill Academy’s legendary Basketball Camp—where serious players come to level up! Designed for boys ages 10–17 who already compete on school or AAU teams, this high-energy camp packs each day with elite instruction from OHA coaches, competitive 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play, individual skill work, and nonstop action. Campers experience life on our mountain campus, enjoy all-you-can-eat meals, meet players and coaches connected to one of the nation’s most storied basketball programs, and build friendships that last long after the final buzzer. Whether you choose day camp, overnight camp, or stay multiple weeks for extra training and off-campus adventures, Oak Hill Basketball Camp is the place to train, compete, and have the best week of your summer. 

Academics

Spend your summer smart — and fun — with Oak Hill Academy’s Academic Summer Session! From June to July, rising 8th–12th graders live on campus in a tight-knit, in-person experience, enrolling in new or repeat core courses with small class sizes and dedicated support. Choose from a mix of English, math, science, social studies, and study-skills classes — plus college counseling help. Afternoons and evenings are full of recreation, from hiking and canoeing to gym time, weekly off-campus trips, and outdoor adventures. It’s the perfect way to catch up, get ahead, or try boarding life — all while enjoying the stunning Blue Ridge mountain setting.

Get ready to train like a pro at PSG Academy Pro Camp on the picturesque Oak Hill Academy campus! Open to elite players ages 10–18, this camp brings certified PSG coaches straight from Paris for world-class training in technique, tactics, fitness, and mindset, all rooted in the elite PSG methodology. Whether you’re on the field or in the classroom, you’ll gain expert coaching, personalized assessments, video analysis, and the chance to be evaluated for PSG’s year-round Residency Program. Why take summer classes?

  • Improve your GPA by repeating prior coursework (full course or a single semester)
  • Strengthen understanding in a subject
  • Lighten next year’s course load by taking a new class
  • Acquire credits needed for graduation
  • Work on college applications in our college lab

How many can you take?

Nearly all core curriculum courses are offered. Choose one of the following options:

  1. One new class
  2. Two repeat classes (or 1 repeat and 1/2 credit in study skills)

Summer Session classes are 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Which activities are offered?

All athletic facilities are available for summer school use, including Turner Gymnasium, weight room, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, tennis facilities, soccer and baseball fields, Frisbee golf course, and volleyball courts.

Our recreational activities and spaces are open as well, including the amphitheater, paintball course, mountain bike trails, equestrian facilities, Lake Samuella swimming, boating, and fishing facilities, upper and lower pavilions, and hiking trails.

Off campus trips to regional points of interest are scheduled weekly and include canoe trips, movie trips, restaurant visits, tubing and more.
